Favorite Books and Readings

Must Read Books:

1.  The Law, Frederic Bastiat

The most comprehensive and simply stated book ever on the nature of what the law is supposed to be.

2. Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand

A novel that encompasses the ideas and importance of liberty. Exposes the flaws in central planning from a lady who saw it first hand in her own childhood.

3.  History of the American People,  Paul Johnson

A basic, yet detailed overview of American History.

4.   The Road to Serfdom, F.A. Hayek

This book is very deep in its nature and must be focused on intently.  Not a casual reader, but a very important book.

5.  The Federalist Papers, Hamilton, Madison, and Jay

A collection of essays by three of the framers of the Constitution  on the intentions of this most important document.  Have a question about what the framers meant in the Constitution?  This should be the first place you look.
